When Ryan Teets, Kindle Beauty CEC (Chief Executive Chandler) first launched the company,
it was strictly a one-man pour-it-yourself operation working out of a small kitchen. Though the company has a larger manufacturing facility today, it still hand pours each candle with care.

“When we first started," he recalls, "I was very fortunate to have found a mentor in the remarkable celebrity skin care expert Ole Henriksen who has successfully launched his own product line.  Ole saw our candles as a perfect match for his prestigious West Hollywood spa.
It was our first retail outlet, soon followed by a salon in Beverly Hills with three locations and it has just grown from there.”

Initially we began with around twenty-five fragrances but found there were clear favorites. By editing down the collection (and occasionally rolling out limited edition fragrances for holidays), we found that our sales became even stronger.”

The magic number was eight; four citrus-based Signature Scents (Pomegranate, Fig Pear, Berry Currant, Vanilla Citrus) and four soothing Spa Fragrances (Green Tea, Amber Lavender, Vanilla Lavender, Black Tea). Since the scents are designed to combine and coordinate with each other, many Kindle Beauty customers also create their own unique room blends by burning two different fragrances simultaneously.

Health related personal care businesses such as spas, salons and even chiropractic offices are choosing Kindle Soy Wax Candles for their treatment rooms. Most candles on the market today are petroleum-based paraffin including many that claim to be soy but are in fact impure blends.
