Take Care - Kindle Directions
First time lighting your Kindle Soy Wax Candle,
let it burn for an hour or two. Extinguish and
allow the soy wax cool back into solid form.

Before each subsequent burning, trim the wick.
The best length is 1/4” above the soy wax.
Ideal burning time is two to four hours.

Discontinue burning when soy wax reaches
a level of 1/8” from the bottom of the glass.
Please enjoy with caution.
Trim the wick
Make your candle last longer with this easy tip: Trim the wick to ¼ inch each time before burning. When the wick is cool you can pinch off the burnt wick with your fingers using a tissue to keep your fingers clean. Long or crooked wicks can cause uneven burning or flaring.

Keep a 2 foot circle of clearance
Always keep a 2 foot circle of clearance around a burning candle. Never burn a candle on a countertop that has cabinets above or anything that can catch fire; such as in the kitchen or bath.

Keep the wax pool clear
Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings, matches and debris at all times. Theses items may catch fire as the candle burns down.

Avoid drafts
Avoid drafts, vents or air currents. This will help prevent rapid or uneven burning, sooting, and flame flickering. Also, never place the candle close to curtains or drapery that wind could blow into the candle's flame.

Never touch or move
Never touch or move a burning candle. Never move the glass container when the wax is liquefied, wait until it has completely cooled.

Clean spilled wax easily
Our soy wax is water soluble and biodegradeable. Use a little soap and water to clean spilled soy wax. A little windex also works wonders to remove any remaining fragrance oils.

Don't burn a candle all the way down
Don't burn a candle all the way down. For a margin of safety, discontinue burning a candle when 1/8 inch of wax remains.

Use a candle snuffer to extinguish
Use a candle snuffer to extinguish a candle. It's the safest way to prevent hot wax from splattering.

Never use water to extinguish
Never use water to extinguish a candle. Water can cause the hot wax to splatter and might break the glass container.

Make sure the candle is completely out
Make sure the candle is completely out and the wick ember is no longer glowing before leaving the room.

Never use a candle as a night light.

Do not leave a burning candle unattended.
